It's time to upgrade to some interesting major versions in backend and frontend libs.

gulp 5.0.0: Updated
alpinejs 3.14.9: Updated
Update HTML templates, SCSS, and so on to use the latest syntax and features of the updated major versions.

Sept. 8, 2024, 7:17 p.m. - Optimizing queries

django-debug-toolbar 4.4.6: Added.
pip-tools 7.4.1: Added.
I had seen that bookmark section was a bit slow, so after reading some sections of Django documentation I applied some recipes such as select_related and prefetch_related in some views to optimize some queries. Now, all sections respond a little better than before.

tailwindcss 3.0.23: Updated.
inter-ui 3.19.3: Added.
I just added a new font for the website.
The different sections of the website have been separated in different Django apps.
The bookmarks section have been updated with a new design like delicious.

show only published posts: I have fixed the issue with draft, published, and scheduled posts. Now, only published posts should be shown.

node-sass 5.0.0: Deleted.
sass 1.37.2: Added.
gulp-sass 5.0.0: Updated. gulp-sass version 5 introduces some breaking changes. Now, it is necessary to specify a default sass compiler. So, I replaced node-sass to sass package.
I just added a new column and updated another one to manage dates related to posts.

I changed a little the home page design, now it shows the latest posts.
With the new tailwindcss major version, I decided to update some styles of the site like borders instead of shadows, post link color, and the width of the header navigation bar.

I've changed the design of the whole site. Now, articles section has the same design too.

tailwindcss 1.8.10: Added. I've changed the css framework from Fomantic-UI to Tailwind CSS.
alpinejs 2.7.0: Added. I would like to avoid using javascript, but it's not possible for this moment. For some things that require using javascript I will use alpinejs instead of jquery.
fontawesome-free 5.15.1: Updated.

fomantic-ui 2.8.6: Deleted.
jquery 3.5.1: Deleted.
